Eligibility of Nominee
The nominee for the Award must be a graduate of COMP, PolyU who has successfully completed a full-time or part-time programme and attained an academic award accredited by PolyU. Failure to provide complete and accurate information in respect of the nomination by the proposer may result in disqualification of the nominee.
Eligibility of Proposer
- Each nomination shall be proposed by:
- A bona fide graduate of PolyU; or
- A current full-time staff member of PolyU; or
- An Honorary Graduate/ current Council member/ current Court member/ University Fellow of PolyU; or
- A current member of Departmental Advisory Committee (DAC) of COMP, PolyU; or
- A current member of the Computing Alumni Association (CAA)
- Each proposer can submit more than one nomination. However, the proposer can neither be the nominee himself/herself nor be a member of the Award Panel of Judges.

Important Notes:
- In order to fully pay tribute to alumni who have demonstrated significant achievements in their professions, contributions to the community as well as to PolyU/COMP, any nominees who meet the selection criteria will be awarded.
- This online nomination form should be completed and submitted by a proposer. The proposer is required to provide sufficient and accurate information for the nomination.
- At the same time please submit a recent colour photograph of nominee (must be in .png, .gif, .jpg, or .jpeg format and with a resolution of at least 200 dpi or 1200x1200 pixels) and photocopies of Certificates of Graduation of the nominee with the online form.
- All information submitted will be kept strictly confidential and will only be used by COMP, PolyU and the Award Panel of Judges for the purpose of the selection process.
- The decision made by the Award Panel of Judges shall be final and binding.
- Reason(s) for granting or not granting the Award to a nominee will not be released by COMP, PolyU.
- After the Award is granted, it may be withdrawn at the absolute discretion of COMP, PolyU when it is deemed appropriate.
- COMP, PolyU reserves all rights to modify the arrangements, rules and criteria of the Award when it is deemed appropriate.
- Nominee’s consent to be nominated and use of his/her personal information (e.g. photo and certificates) must be sought before submitting the nomination.
